trouble syncing my iphone

I recently bought an iphone 6 and I am trying to sync it up on itunes to transfer all of my apps from my old phone. However, during the syncing process it says that this program has stopped working and closes me out. Any ideas?

Update your iTunes and your phones software and then do it

I uninstalled and reinstalled itunes and my phone says my software is up to date. I am a novice at this stuff so if I am missing something please let me know. Thanks.

IDK then. I had the same issue but once I updated everything it worked. If there is an Apple Store near you just make an appt and they will fix it all for free

Do you still have your old phone? If so is it possible to just do a quick backup to iCloud?

I was able to sync it using my laptop, but would like to be use my office computer as well.
