To have people off the street like Sanford, Frederick and Pierre Warren step in and see the field and your 2nd rd pick just wasting away all year on the sideline. What a huge failure of a draft pick. Hoping this guy sees the light and improves next year. What did they see with him to waste a 2 on him??

This is a fresh subject. I wonder why nobody has brought it up before.

It kind of reminds me of how we knew nothing of Armstead's abilities and thought he must have really sucked because Payton continued to play Charles Brown game after game...It is possible that Payton wants SJB to spend the year improving his fundamentals instead of throwing him to the wolves, get burnt time after time, and permanently screwing up his head??? Just a theory

Yea I know its been discussed before douchebag, but the point and argument cannot be stated enough. The Saints wasted a 2nd rd pick on a player that is healthy and has not seen the field. It was a huge miss by this organization.

He was a projected 2nd rounder. The guy is super raw and needs time to develop.

Saints need to draft better with little to no FA money next year.

We had no FA money last year and the year before that and before that.

All of those guys were on practice squads or with the Saints in camp. Also, Warren and Sanford play Safety, as SBJ plays CB. I'm sure your realize that those are two different positions. Why is Frederick starting/seeing the field instead? Well, I can't answer that.

However, I will give the guy a couple of years before we say "wasted pick".
