Why can't/don't the Saints run the ball?

1st and goal from the 4, 3 minutes left in the 3rd.

Uhm, run the ball down their throats. What kind of NFL team can't pound it up the middle 3 or 4 times in a row for 4 yards at a 95% clip?

Good lord, great idea stopping the clock too.

Sorry, but I'm trusting my HoF QB to get me the TD inside the 10 every time. I want the ball in the hands of my best playmaker on 3rd and goal, and that man is Drew Brees.

The Saints kicked a FG on the drive I'm referring to...?

I just feel like SP has zero feel. Can't punch it in on 1st and goal from the 4. Rather bolster Brees' stats than run some clock. Not sure that shite is a good way to win playoff games...

I'm really not trying to piss you guys off or start shite. It just amazes me sometimes how SP calls plays.

The one where they ran and Ingram lost 5 yards?

Our running game isnt working because of our bad runningback and shitty blocking, might as well let the surgeon handle it

that one was on Goodwin falling on Paea's feet expecting that to stop him.

This was a mistake, y'all are morons.

Let me know when our runningbacks don't get hit behind the LOS the split second they get the ball in the red zone or <10 yards.

6'7 TE, 6'4 WR

I'm throwing it and its gonna convert most of the times

Yes, so man up and move some frickers for 4 yards. If it doesn't work, burn that clock and make it a 23-0 lead and let your defense keep fricking shite up like they did all game.

Or, stop the clock and play soft.

Yeah, the one where our shitty OL got destroyed and Ingram had nowhere to go.

But of course we'll blame Ingram.

Not sure which is more annoying. Backs getting the blame when they have shitty blocking, or QBs getting the blame when a WR drops a ball.

Valid point. It still baffles me though how SP calls plays relative to how the game is going.

Stop being so sensitive. Did Ingram not run the ball and lose yards?

Regardless of whose fault it was, bottomline is we werent running it well. And brees was dealing. I have zero problem with it.
