LSU is his dream job now, Michigan maybe 20 years ago?

Judging by the location of that video that's a very average tailgate.

But yeah, whatever you say.

Not sure why LSU is a better job than Michigan. It wasn't until about 15 years ago that LSU even amounted to anything of importance. Michigan is the winningest program in all of college football.

I repeat: Fielding Yost died in 1946.

This is now.

Yea, Notre Dame used to be really good too.

Don't forget about University of Chicago. The Maroon was awesome in the 1940s.

Minnesota has 7 national titles. So by your definition, it's a much better job than Auburn.

Laugh as long as you want. Wait and See what will happen in two weeks. With all due respect to LSU, it is still a 2nd tier program compared to BAMA. Michigan is at the same level with BAMA.

Location, weather, SEC, facilities, in-state high school talent.. should I go on?

What's more important and indicative of future success? Results in the last 15 years? Or a bunch of wins/championships under a coach who died in 1946?

Not to mention LSU is the top dog in its state. Now don't get me wrong, Michigan is not like some 3rd tier Auburn program who always has and will be in big brother's shadow... but Michigan State has leveled the playing field and OSU is right next door.

The Big10/Pac10's cozy little sweetheart deal with the Doze Bowl allowed the midwestern sportswriters to keep the Michigan myth alive long after they lost on the field relevance. The Big 10 powers that be have known for decades that they have to avoid the southern teams by any means necessary and have fought tooth and nail to prevent a playoff. James Delany knows exactly what the four team playoff means for Big 10 football.

If Miles expressed any interest in the Michigan job at any point in the last several years, you guys would have immediately fired any coach you had. . .Carr included.

For the coaches, there are always some other stuff attached to the school you played.

JH comes back to Michigan because of that. Les wants to come to Michigan is for the same reason.
I agree with both statements

I get a different sense Prominentwon. most of the fans I know bitch about Les, esp after a loss, etc but really like him and don't want him to leave. most of the under 30 crowd, esp on the Rant want him gone and make a lot of noise saying so.

so what else is new with LSU fans. hell, many were pretty vocal about Saban after losses too.

you're a dumbass. while Michigan once was on par with Bama, they aren't even close right now and haven't been for a LONG time.

LSU is not a 2nd tier program right now. we've not been NC material for the last 2 years but we have most years since the early 2000's. if LSU is 2nd tier, your Michigan is barely 3rd tier.
