You are mistaken, globalization will go down in an infernal blaze of light and fire.

Technology will continue to be indistinguishably intertwined with world economies, tying political foes together through increased living standards, leading to reduced wars and the increased likelihood that future wars won't take place because people around the world like their shiny technological wonders manufactured overseas, their local jobs tied to supporting that overseas manufacturing, and have friends they've met online that live a world away that will offset any ambiguous politicans attempts to anger the national populace over some truly unoffensive issue because that politican wants to warhawk and send someone's kid overseas to die while their kid sits in some Ivy League classroom making connections to land them in some cushy Wall Street banking job where they can screw the hardworking blue class guy who lost a leg in his father's politically pandering war.
On second thought, I'll gladly support the assembly line worker at Foxconn who makes my iPhone as cheaply as possible, while the geniuses at Apple dare to put more computing power in my phone than NASA had when they put Armstong and Aldrin on the moon. That seems like a giant benefit of the globalization you guys piss all over on here.

On the other hand, the world does seem to be balkanizing into racial, economic, political and religious factions as well. If that continues humanity is doomed.

Far more pronounced in the past than it is today.

On a more basic level, are you under the impression that the United States can solve all problems that it will face in the future without the help of other nations?
