Driving back from Florida a few weeks ago... Sunday, non-holiday, pretty light traffic, most everyone is hauling arse making great time. Then... you get to the shitshow that is I12. Unfrigginbelievable.
It really is the Bermuda Triangle of highways. That's the only explanation.
