For those that like prog and jambands, check out Fang Island sometime. They do a nice mix of prog and jams, imo:

They aren't really appropriate for this thread, as they don't do that much longform, but they have crazy transitions.

A lot of people are hating on the new Opeth because they dropped basically all shreds of metal they once had and went straight up prog but I love it. Moon Above, Sun Below
