lol

That shite was like fricking opera compared to the Dead

Genesis was putting on a fricking performance every night. I mean beyond just pure theatrics, which they did better than just about anyone else, they had much better music than the Dead to work with, and Phil on the drums, Tony Banks on the keys bro? Steve Hackett bro.

Genesis had a huge cult following from their live performances in the 70s

I know you jam brahs just wanted to Jerry shoot heroin and noodle on a guitar for 3 hours, but I think Genesis was pushing the envelope a little bit more

I mean it does look pretty crazy, but the actual music leaves a bit to be desired

I mean the 10-20+ minute sort of songs, the ones with 15 different sections.

I like the style on Frances the Mute

But that song fits the description to a T/Tee

Some of that is wordy and excessive, but that's because Peter Gabriel wouldn't shut the frick up during the Lamb Lies Down era

Genesis - Supper's Ready

I saw this in concert last week, performed by Steve Hackett and his band. It was spiritual.

Here's my offering: Todd Rundgren's Utopia - Utopia

Nothing a 12 year old, New Orleans street performing, black kid couldn't pull off.

I guess you turned it off before he got on the drum set

That show they had Bill Bruford on the other drum set, the dude that drummed in Yes and King Crimson

But yea they suck, the Grateful Dead is a lot better than that

I meant about seeing Supper's Ready live last week. That was an unreal show. 2 1/2 hours, no intermission, no opening band, ridiculous setlist.
