Fair enough but lets not act like Miles isn't capable of a 5-7 season as well.

Nothing Miles has done at LSU points to a 5-7 season. What are you talking about?

Yet you don't consider that Les could have a couple more some luck going his way.

You're talking out both sides of your mouth, which like I said in my first reply to this thread.... Shocker.

Really? Give me the years? Your team winning a game it lost doesn't equal the type of luck you are comparing it to. One is power in your hands, and the other is how teams outside of your control do. If you want to complain about 2011 and playing Bama again, I have little sympathy for Miles and the team there. They didn't show up and lost any right to a title that year.

Are you going to say 2005 or 2006? What about 2012? 2013? Which ones were LSU getting unlucky cause of other teams?

That team was talented but in shambles. Are you really again comparing Auburn in 1999 to LSU in 2005?

2006. 2011. 2012. We were just as unlucky as any other team in those years.

But of course you want see it that way.

Not enough shambles apparently.

Still waiting for that link where I compared them.

Fun fact, I can say Auburn wasn't rebuilding AND not say that situation was the same as LSU. Try not to have your head explode when it finally clicks.

Ignore them BeeFense, I can't fathom any way LSU has a losing record short of a mutiny given their recruiting.

Les won't go 5-7 or worse here.

2006? No. Unlucky calls? Perhaps. But those games were in our hands despite what anyone wants to complain about the officiating.

LSU had its shot in 2011 and blew it. They have an NC if they are just competitive in that NC game and didn't even show up.

2012, no. LSU losing games is not the same type of luck as needing teams around the country to lose multiple games.

That is y'alls problem. You compare a team's losses as the same as events outside their control.

Again, claim those years, but those are all on LSU and no one else.

So no lucky bounces went against us? Nothing at all?

Pretty fricking unlucky to have to play a team from your division twice I'd say.

2012, no

Yup, Don't miss one tackle and we are right in the hunt and had just as good a shot as anyone to be the team to embarrass the Irish.

Bull fricking shite. You're a moron that is so blinded with bias that you make any excuse for LSU winning and don't acknowledge any what if scenarios that benefit Les/LSU.

Yet, LSU mustered 3 points with their powerful offense against Auburn and self-destructed against UF. They made mistakes.

It is, but again, all they had to do was be competitive in that game and they likely take home the AP trophy.

Hmmm... LSU lost 3 games that year. Missing a tackle against Bama is something LSU did. It wasn't something out of their control.

How do you not understand the difference between things out of a teams control like needing Pitt to beat West Virginia and LSU losing their games with poor play or coaching?

What? I made an excuse for LSU winning? When? I said in 2007 they were the best team.

I could care less about what ifs that LSU had control in. LSU LOST those games. They had the ability to win or lose them based on their play. That is entirely different from needing other teams to win/lose for you.

You are the delusional one. Good God.

You pumpers can bloviate all you want but Les Miles takes all the fun out of watching LSU football. That fact is independent of any arguments about wins and losses.

The obvious difference is that Alabama sucked much of the time that Tubby was at Auburn. The SEC east was the dominant division of the SEC most of those years.

It's a lot of fans' problem. Getting embarrassed (sometimes even when you win) gets old.

You are an idiot. It happened four times this year alone. We got killed by Miss St, Auburn, and Arky and choked yet again to Bama. Do you even have a TV?

It doesn't discredit the NC. He won it. But he still managed to lose to (2) inferior teams that year.

He's been here for 10 years so yeah it's really rare - I'm not so myopic to only focus on this season. Gonna be hilarious when your'e back on the train again. See my sig? That was a moron that was hell bent convinced that Miles was great until 2008 - then he was convinced he was going to get fired. Made it his mission to flood the board with all kinds of stats and proof and gut feelings that he was terrible and we were headed toward multiple losing seasons and Miles being fired. See he was never wrong about when a coach had lost a team and getting fired was just inevitable. That was until Miles rattled off another SECC and national title game.

He's gonna coach here next year. We're gonna have a great year but I'm hoping you provide me with a quote about how convinced you are that Miles is a terrible coach and he's going to keep "embarrassing you".

They finished last in the SEC West the year before he was hired. How were they not in need of rebuilding?
