Good gaming apps for 13year old?

Getting my son his own tablet for Christmas- he will be 13 next month.
For the last year or so he has commandeered my old tablet and he regularly plays games such as Plants vs. Zombies, Clash of Clans, and a few others that I'm not sure what the names are. He likes adventure games, FPS, puzzles, etc. pretty much anything
I got him an Asus MeMo tablet running Kitkat and has a quadcore processor, so it shouldn't have any trouble running the latest apps.
I want to have some of the games already loaded when he gets it Christmas morning, so any apps that y'all recommend?

I don't do a whole lot of gaming on my tablet but here are some suggestions:
The Room
The Room Two
These are fun puzzle/adventure games where you are trying to open Da Vinci Code-esque puzzle boxes and contraptions. Reminds me a bit of Myst, if you are at all familiar with that old game.
Might and Magic: Clash of Heroes
This is a puzzle/strategy game mixed with fantasy RPG elements. You attack your opponent, cast spells, or build defenses by making moves within the puzzle game. Very unique.

I appreciate it and I'll look into them!

The Room looks pretty good- may have to get that one for myself!
Looks along the same lines as "The 7th Guest" that I used to play many years ago.

quote:Yes, it definitely has a similar atmosphere to that game. I've actually only played the first "The Room" but the second is on my backlog list and my friends have told me it's just as good as the first.
