He'll get lots of it in 2017 and only a smattering of it before then.

So you don't think he'll study in the offseason and learn the position?

Dude don't try to reason with him. He's one of the ones stuck on stupid about Jennings remaining the starter because he's Mile's favorite, or some stupid shite like that.

I just started reading "The QB" and there is some interesting stuff on Brandon Harris in there.

Yes, but lightning-quick decision making in the passing game in the NFL comes from preparation and time in the game. As Steve Young said, you process tremendous amounts of data and eventually it becomes second-nature.

This. When you run a 4.2/4.3 40 (Vick,etc..)you don't learn to be as patient in the pocket & learn subtle pocket process like a 5.2 40 guy( Manning/Brady).

When passing routes & protection breaks down with a running QB ever since High School they have coped by running like a spooked deer.

Manning/Brady & traditional slow QB's weren't running any damn where & ever since High School they have learned to stay in the pocket ,step up, read the progressions etc.....

Peyton Manning /Brady etc,.......have been doing since High School (almost 2nd nature now)what they are trying teach 'running QB's' when it comes to subtle pocket presence .
