Why was he black balled from the
NFL? I understand that he has some shitty looking passes, but he lead his team to a playoff victory his first year... After that never seen the field again, I just can't explain it...

Not good enough to be a legit consistent starter in the NFL. Too big of a personality to be a 2nd or 3rd QB.

because he's an awful nfl qb. there's really no "black balling" or any other reason.

I know this will shock the ESPN generation, but "wins" and "losses" aren't a quarterback stat. Tebow ain't good enough.

He wasn't a good NFL QB

The NFL has a way of getting rid of people that aren't good at playing football

Did not show the talent to be a true starter might have worked at another position but he did not want to play anything but QB.

At least a team could've given him a chance to prove this... His first year he took his team to a playoff victory... I would've like to see a team give him the chance to shite the bed

Tim Tebow Opens a Hospital in the Philippines

Tim Tebow's altruistic streak continues.

The football star turned TV analyst has opened the Tebow CURE hospital in Davao City, Philippines. The five-story facility has received its official operating license and opened its doors this week. Physicians are already seeing children with critical orthopedic needs.

For Tebow, who was one of PEOPLE's Sexiest Men Alive this year,
quote:

the hospital is the result of several years of planning and hard work. "We've been waiting a long time for it," he told PEOPLE in October. "I'm really excited that it's finally going to happen. We want to provide physical care, but we'll also provide spiritual and emotional care as well."

The hospital, built in partnership with CURE International, has 30 beds and three operating rooms. A team of 54 staffers has been hired to see patients.

"I was born in the Philippines while my parents served as missionaries, and I have always had great love and passion for the Filipino people," says Tebow, 27. "It is so exciting to be able to provide healing and care for these incredibly deserving children halfway around the world.

The hospital is one facet of the Tim Tebow Foundation. The Florida-based organization also includes "Timmy's Playrooms" in children's hospitals, the W15H program, and Orphan Care, a program that provides grants to families adopting children with special needs.

It's been a busy month for Tebow. Last week, he surprised shoppers by paying off their layaway bills as part of a Good Morning America segment.

And despite the untrue rumors that he was dating reality star Jana Duggar, Tebow remains single ? but open to a relationship.

"I'm looking for a girl who wants to make a difference in the lives of others," he told PEOPLE last month. "I've always been attracted to girls whose hearts are the biggest thing about them."

Plenty of teams did this in practice and the preseason. You are not given anything in the NFL.

The Pats tailored their whole 3rd string offense to him in last years training camp and he still sucked.

Also he didn't take the broncos anywhere. His defense and a shitty schedule brought them that run

You know there's 53 players on an NFL team right?

ETA you are clearly trolling at this point.

This is sorta my thought process, he's better than a lot of back ups in the league imo... I just would've liked to see him lose his job on the field, instead of going to an abortion of a team like the jets... I know the patriots have him a shot but they only hold onto two qbs.. Brady and a backup..

Quarterbacks get way too much credit and blame. The team went 8-8 to get to the playoffs, first of all, and he won some of those games only completing a few passes. Yes, he had a fluke game that happened to be in the playoffs, probably aided by a team that gameplanned to stop the #1 rushing offense in the league and allowing more of a passing game. The NFL is riddled with one game wonders who ultimately do little else besides that.
