Best part of Shockeys shows is his damn cowboy hat. Hunting hogs in Texas? Cowboy hat. Himalayan Sheep hunt? Cowboy hat with 3 foot of snow piled on it. Amazon rain forest hunt? Same hat. Spear fishing the Gulf? He'd figure out a way to dive with that freaking hat on.
And I'm extremely jealous of Jim's hunting career.

I have the Major League Bowhunter season recording on my dvr. I always liked Larry Jones during his playing days and think it is awesome how he's transitioned from a HOF MLB career to professional hunting these days. He's also slayed ton of hot arse tricks in his day. Larry Jones is my hero and is a damn fine American.

Meat Hunter had a new episode (2 parter) in September. New episodes begin on January 8th. Every Thursday at 8pm.

That episode is the only reason I have any desire to kill a bear, to do exactly what he did. I have seen 3 or 4 episodes, and I really like how he genuinely enjoys eating the animal.
I cannot watch any of the other shows, unless they have children or handicapped folks killing things and getting genuinely excited. The rest is just too fake to me.

I like Dream Season, cause it shows a bunch of different hunts each show in multiple states throughout the season. Has different teams that travel around. Also like anything with Jim Shockey, and of course The Crush.

This is thread for this. Do y'all remember a show on tnn with a guy who used to bass fish, but the way the show came across he was more like a stand up comedian than a fisherman. Mediocre fishin skills but he was funny as all hell. This would have been about 1999
