Anyone have any luck with buying refurbished items?

I'm looking to get a Vizio soundbar for my upstairs office. It would be mainly used for TV and gaming.

You can get them cheap on Ebay but they are refurbished.

Any thoughts?

Depends on the item and the cost. I bought a refurbished chromebook from amazon for $150 and haven't had any problems
