Which game has failed the most at making a game out of a movie?

A lot of bad 90s movies come to mind. Street Fighter (and then the Chun-Li one from several years ago), Mario Brothers, and Double Dragon.

Oh, gotcha. Like the Amazing Spider-Man game and the sequel. None of them ever wowed me.
I still have awful memories of the playing the Terminator 2: Judgment Day game on SNES.
Though I haven't played it, I guess the answer should be ET, given the mass burial.

I think he wants which movies have failed to make good games that have spawned from the movies, but he used games that have failed to make good movies as an examples. So who knows....

The OP's question reads that the movie came first then the game (which is probably the opposite of what he meant.)

Shitty games based on movies I guess. There is actually a Street Fighter game based on the movie. Its real shitty. I think it was on Sega CD or 32x.

I asked him in my first reply (which I edited) and he does mean games that spawned from movies, of which there are many. So my first list of examples is wrong.

if you are talking about a game being based off a movie then there is only 1 answer. ET for the atari, a game so bad it crashed the vidya game industry
