Thanks for the input. Im ordering the one in the op soon as i get home. If i like it I'll end up buying the tactical as well.

What all was involved in the process to get the suppressor if you don't mind me asking.

supressors and other class 3 items can be bought as an individual or trust (preferably a trust). Most class 3 dealers will submit your paper work (form 4) when buying a suppressor through them. Once submitted to the atf you will wait about 5 months for approval and your tax stamp ($200). Once you get the stamp you can take possession of the can. That's the jist of it.

Thanks for the info. I just ordered it through Preppers website. $655 after shipping and FFL transfer.

If I like it I'm sure the tactical version won't be too far off in the future. I'll get a suppressor as well.

Thanks for the info, it's appreciated.

The only pistols from them I've shot though are striker fired. I don't like striker pistols unless they're pocket pistols.

What is this statement based on? I don't mind if you just like them hammer-fired because that's your thing. But I'm wondering you have some specific reasoning behind it.

As far as the rmr on the tactical, I'm sure it's fun to play with, but it just seems more like a tacticool gimmick. Except for my AR, I'm not really into attachments.

Not gimmicky at all. You track ONE reference point through the window and it allows you to be extremely fast in that regard. No 3 posts to line up. Defensive shooting you may not have a huge advantage since you'll mostly be point shooting instead of looking for the reticle. But in terms of competition shooting it is MUCH faster.

I have an m and p 9mm. Decent shooting gun.

I'm not a fan of funds that don't have safety's is really all it boils down to. Most of the larger framed guns that I've shot and are striker fired don't have a safety.

Maybe I just prefer hammer fired. I don't have a great reason, but I've shot/owned enough pistols to know that I prefer hammer fired.

I don't do competition shooting. Purely for fun at the range and self defense.
