2.31 ERA
422 saves (fifth all-time, 2 behind Franco)
0.998 WHIP
11.9 K/9

I think there can at least be an argument that Wagner should be considered for the elite status. However, he spent the entirety of his career in the shadow of Rivera and Hoffman. With no World Series rings/appearances, is he on the outside looking in?

During the regular season the guy was definitely on Mo's and Hoff's level. His mediocre at best playoff record hurts him, unfortunately.

It's actually a bad playoff record -- 10.03 ERA.

But only in 11.2 innings.

What about KRod? Dude has 348 career saves while basically having 5 throwaway seasons. Still only 32, if he shows the longevity of closers past, could he approach 500 saves? That is, if he is as effective as he was in '13

I'd say no way, but there aren't many relievers I would put in the hall.

His stats are a lot better than I thought they were. I loved watching him as an Astro for several years. I think he should get in but I don't think he will.

I used to love watching him pitch as an Astros fan. He would bring the heat.

Depends on your view of closers in the Hall.
