So according to 24/7, when he signed the scholorship paperwork with us, we had unlimited contact with him. But since he is no longer an early enrollee, all of those visits that our coaching staff made now count against us and we will not be able to visit him before the dead period. Do y'all think that Alabama being able to recently visit him, among other schools sways him? And do you y'all think this was some kind of agenda by another school for him to sign the paper work and then back out?

Also, how do you think we finish out the O-line this class?

Alabama is making a strong push. I hope LSU can hold onto him. We need him. I think we hold him. But Alabama is going all in on him

I guess signing of any type of financial aid paperwork locks the school in to honor the scholarship as is vs. down the road a team getting a higher ranked athlete then that school trying to change to a lower scholarship that would possibly send that player looking for another school or accepting the lower offer.

So players that have good scholarship offers and are relatively certain about the school sign financial aid paperwork locking that school in to the player, but the player can always go elsewhere. And yes it gives them unlimited contact or whatever.

Thats the way I understand it. If that is wrong, correct me please???

Yes you right. But for some reason when i read the sites Alabama seems like they are the ones we need to be most worried about. Our coaching staff has been to his house a bunch of times and he keeps telling them his commitment to us is still firm. So he is ours to lose at this point.

Crystal ball has 90% Ole Miss and 10% Bama.

0 votes for LSU and he's committed here

I think this is one reason why we keep him is because we need him more than any other school we are competing against. He knows he could see the field very early with LSU

Definitely.

I think Womack is way underrated and has a huge upside under Grimes and Moffitt. He is not undervalued however, at least not for LSU. Ole Miss did seem to not consider him very valuable... until he committed to LSU anyway.

This, to me personally, is a huge get and I was very very excited when he committed. Unfortunately he does seem to be one of the most at risk flips.

Yes we need to keep him. He will be a very good OL for us. We really need him.

The crystal ball thing only lets them pick a school he's not committed to. Most of those picks are based on him being from a pro-OM area and hoping to look like they knew something.

I've been hearing a ton about Ole Miss lately. I'd be fairly concerned.

Then again, probably means he's coming here.

I haven't heard anything about them fixing things with his dad, but that whole situation was ridiculous in my opinion.

He came out and said he didn't feel that the staff was giving his son enough attention after he committed.

That's because he committed to LSU out of the blue. No one can put in a pick for LSU after he commits. That's just stupid

If he signed the FA papers and is no longer an early enrollee then that is bad. No other reason to sign FA papers at this time.
