My eyes aren't what they were and instead of walking to check my target each time I'm thinking about a spotting scope. Anybody use one and can recommend one?

Redfield makes a great one for the money. I forgot the actual model name but I used it out to 550 yards doing some long range work. It is pretty darn clear.

Redfield Blazer 20-60x60mm

On sale at academy for $79.95 regular $129?

I missed the black Friday deal of $49.95

On edit: WAl-Mart.com has it for $53.97

Not sure what your budget is but I have a Vortex Diamondback with the angled eye piece - it was a lot more than the redfield posted..

Good to know...I was looking at the vortex, but couldn't justify the price with how seldom it I'll be used...I'll give the Redfield from Walmart a shot ...I just ordered it...should be here just before Christmas...Will give an honest review...

Anything has to be better than the game winner Academy one I bought a few years ago...

I was talking about the redfield Rampage 20-60. It should be around 180 for the whole kit (tripod, case, cover).

I am in the market for a scope. Vortex Razor HD is the top of my list. I would like to look thru one before buying.
