Yeah that shite isn't ridiculous in the least bit. No reason to get upset about it though, it happens every year. DG has a great career ahead of him.
For official purposes:
Hand: 7 Tackles, 2 TFL, 2 Sacks
DG: 34 Tackles, 1.5 TFL, 1 FF

Godchaux started very game at DT for the #1 D in the SEc and was left off?
I'd argue that he had a better freshman season than Dupre. (Yes Dupre was handicapped by our QB, but the statement is still true).

Godchaux not on this list is a travesty. Dude not only competed early but got better and better as the season went on. Ridiculous not to have him on this list. Comparing to Hand's numbers just adds to the injustice.

IMO, All - Freshman team means more from a fan standpoint than any other post-season team because it is a positive gauge of good things to come.

No that would be the preseason awards. Post season awards are supposed to be based on on-field success, not who is thought to have more potential. He was given the award because he was a top 5 recruit in the nation and he plays for Bama. That's it.
