Seems like TWO AFC teams playing would without question be on CBS ?

Can't get that game in Texas, if it was on CBS.

That was because they get screwed every year on Thanksgiving. Both games should be on FOX, but the league gives one to CBS. Fox gets an extra game to make up for it.
Not sure why this one is on FOX.

CBS has the far better picture and better announcers. And that's all that matters
Oh and they don't have a stupid robot mascot and a better theme intro

Fox lost a game this week due to Thursday so they get to replace a Sunday game. Same thing happens in AFC games w CBS.

There is a deal in the tv package that allows CBS to show what would typically be a Fox game, and vice-versa, in order to balance schedules. Say the schedule for the Sunday regional games were heavily in favor of AFC-AFC matchups or AFC on the road playing an NFC matchup, CBS would have more games available than Fox, so Fox would be allowed to pick up a game it normally wouldn't carry in order to balance the schedule.

Det-Chi 2 NFC teams
Phi-Dal 2 NFC teams
Normally Fox would have gotten both of those games. Because it was Thanksgiving, CBS got one.
