Les is very quiet every time UM has searched for a coach.

His silence leads me to believe he's going to Michigan. Why else hasn't he come out and denied he would take the job?

It's just like the Saban to UT hysteria last year.

Exactly the same. We will not up the ante though. He may go this time.

I think both sides have learned valuable lessons

Nothing happens until Harbaugh and SF are eliminated on Sunday from playoff contention

Once that happens the GM will start entertaining offers for Harbaugh, then the Harbaugh to Michigan stuff will go away and the search will move on

Miles can easily confer with his friends around Hackett without anyone knowing. I suspect the negotiation with Bass is already complete and if they offer Miles it will all happen quickly

Dude, I know a lot of you think that if you say something enough times, that it'll influence the God's or some shite. Les isn't going anywhere. He's built a beast of a team for the very near future and he knows that he's the 2nd choice on Michigan's list. Thus, he will stay. He has pride and is not the hopeless twit that some of you make him out to be. I get it. Folks want him gone, but saying it over and over and over won't change anything. If they would have went after him first and made him a priority, I'd be with you. It didnt happen that way, so our coach will remain our coach.

If Michigan will pay a 61-year-old HC MORE than the $4.3 mil-per-year he's currently making, then more power to them. Doesn't seem like a smart move to me, not from UM's point of view.

Miles come in, do five years and get the ship right. Pay your debt to Michigan. Ride off in glory.

You just contradicted yourself in posting this. The only fact here so far is that no one knows anything. You don't know he's staying anymore than anyone that says he's leaving. Period.

Can you explain this? Do you really think he should call a presser at 4? Have you seen him asked about it and dodge it? Have you not seen one recruit and one current player discuss Miles' non-silence? Please explain why so many of you think this way.

I am worried this time. I don't want him to go, but I have a bad feeling this time. If he does go I will wish him well and then we all have to rely on Alleva to make a good hire.

If Les leaves it will hurt this recruiting class and we may have some players jump to the NFL that are on the fence right now. It won't be a smooth transition. Look at other programs like Florida and Tenn

Yes, very much. And Saban got a big fat raise. Also, Saban may have gone if it didn't get p'eed on the whole football season. Either Miles is serously considering it or thinking he gets more $$$. I just done see Miles getting more $$$ after an 8-4 season and a program in decline.
