I am admittedly behind in the world of enhanced statistics. Ok, a lot behind. Here is what I love some input on:
It seemed last night that the seond unit did a much better job of maintaining/building upon the score than we have seen in a number of games previously this year. Do any of you know of a way to follow that matter statistically? With all of the analytics out there, I suspect this would exist. Am I looking for a PER but for a whole unit rather than an individual player?

Simple plus/minus stats would tell you.

No, like PrimeTime said, you're looking for unit +/-. Much more straight-forward than PER.

NBA.com stats page.
Pelicans team page.
Lineups, 5 man lineup
Set filters for last game only and you will see how they did.
Change lineup filter from Traditional to Advanced (same game filter) and you can get per possession stats

all I know is that I am really liking the Cunningham add and Mekel has not been a disaster. I think the Mekel and Rivers backcourt has been pretty productive.
