If given the chance should the Saints draft Jameis?

Plays like RGIII and acts like Cam Newton. So, no thanks.

There's no way our front office is that stupid.

Seems like we are suffering due to character issues with our current players. I cannot speak for his character but where there is smoke, there is fire.
I don't think he would be a good fit.

Sure let's get set back like the raiders did after drafting Russell.

From a talent perspective I say f'n A.
From a character perspective, I have reservations.
I'd have to meet Jameis and spend a little time and vet his character before I'd make a commitment to drafting him.

He's a hell of a player. I just don't know how motivated he'll be after getting an NFL paycheck.

Idk that's a tough question. From a talent standpoint he's got all the tools you would want in a QB, but there is obviously other concerns.
It's definitely worth the risk for some QB needy organization, not sure it's a risk we take right now.

Absolutely not. If we pick him, immediately trade him.

He's like a Jamarcus Russel. Tons of physical talent but doesn't have the intelligence or drive to be great at the game. Way too immature and then combine that attitude with millions of dollars, you have a bust waiting to happen.
Some poor team will have to draft him and take that chance. Glad it's not us.
I'd take Mariotta all day.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Absolutely not. He can't control his off the field stuff without money. Think about what he would be like as a multimillionaire

Why would you ever come to this conclusion? We already have enough thug pos's on this team as it is. Why add another one?
