I cooked chicken earlier and threw the package the chicken came in into the trash can.

I have a 90 pound boxer. I don't worry about shutting the lid until I'm completely done in the kitchen because he hasn't ever gotten into the trash before.

I walk back into the kitchen and he's licking his chops and the package is now on the floor in front of the trash can and he starts hiding.

There was no meat in there, so I'm sure he just licked at the bloody juice.

How bad is this? Dog aids?

Dude, dogs will eat the a-hole out of a dead skunk and be OK. Some of you worry too much. Dogs have very strong stomachs.

He's just a "inside all the time" baby. Runny shits I can handle. Deathly ill would suck. He eats burgers and other cooked food all the time. He's not a dog food only kind of dog.

Dogs eat rats, squirrels, rabbits, even chickens. I doubt this is anything to worry about. He may shite the floor, but that's all.

Your dogs will be 100% fine. My dogs diets consisted of pretty much only 100% raw chicken every day, I would take a whole raw chicken and chop it in half with a meat cleaver and feed it to them and they were fine...they eat that kinda shite in nature. Plus they were 2 Boston Terriers so its not like they were Pit Bulls....there is ZERO reason to worry.

he'll be fine. He might have a runny poo in the morning, but he'll be ok.

I certainly don't think he will be looking in the trash can again for quite a while. Boot to arse.

You're a wise King.

he will be fine...I wouldn't want to give him a whole load of something that he is not used to eating or he might shite all over the house...

licking up a little blood is probably actually good for him...
