Splitting QB reps 50/50 in practice...

Throughout the year we continually heard that AJ and BH were splitting practice reps with the first team 50/50.
If this is true it might just be the most mind boggling thing of all
no wonder this offense never established any consistency. how the hell can you expect your starting qb/offense to drastically improve if they are only practicing together 50% of the time
though who knows this could be another Miles lie and AJ has really been getting 100% of the reps for quite some time...which might even be worst considering how terrible he played

not to mention how Miles tells an 18 year old that he is going to play in the final 2 games of the season but he doesn't?

Miles has to get Harris some snaps in a meaningless bowl game. If not I will officially have lost all hope.

The splitting of reps 50/50 is not with the first string.
My guess is in the scrimmage portion of the practice they are running two huddles with back to back plays against the scout team, which is where the 50/50 split exists and makes practices much more efficient.
I've never seen their practice but this is how I've seen it executed in the past.

I have thought this many times, especially as he continued to say Harris would get in the game and never did. Why give first team reps to a guy you're not going to play (based on the fact that Jennings played terrible and the closest Harris got to the field was pulling a 1/9 Jarret Lee and warming up on the sideline only to never go in)when you're starter is struggling and could obviously benefit from more first team reps.

Either the answer is:
A) They have been splitting, and the offense's execution is suffering because they aren't getting enough reps, or
B) Miles is lying, AJ has gotten the bulk, and has just not improved.
Either way, its shite. And that sucks.

Look. Miles has the QB situation completely in hand. He knows what he is doing. He is the winningest coach EVER at LSU. What do you know about coaching? Do you get paid 4M/year to coach? Anthony Jennings will be the next coming of Bert Jones come next year. Wait and see. Dang negatigers.....
