Oh and:

Thomas - 5.5 yards per carry, 965 yards
Jennings - 2.8 yards per carry, 284 yards

If we are to beat ND we have to be able to pass the ball some... Say what you want about ND'S defense but A & M was much worse and we only scored 23 and could NOT put them away.........

I dont believe this, mainly because ND got way worse as the year went on, mainly due to most of their players being hurt. They freaking mailed it in, just look at their last 4 games.

How many bowl teams did Air Force face this season?

Just Facts on AF for the OP,

AF played 3 bowl teams and beat 2 of them,
Boise State and Colorado State. The QB Pearson is a senior however it was his first season starting the whole season. He might be 5'10" but only weighed 180 pounds coming off reconstructive knee surgery from the year before that he hurt during the first game of 2013 in the first quarter. Also, he didn't play the last game of the season against Colorado State and the second string kid came in and was just as effective and they beat a ranked team.

We have a more experienced QB than A&M, how's that working out?

It seems it worked out in our favor. Their qb made a costly error that lost them the game, ours made one early that didnt.

Passing YPA:
A - 6.85
B - 9.11
C - 9.34

Rushing YPA:
A - 2.8
B - 5.5
C - 4.1

So one guy that was a freshman. People with 2 years college experience do not apply.

Since I know GSU football, a new coach came in and turned a triple option QB in Kevin Ellison into THIS in his first FBS season running the spread option:

(6'0, 190) Sophomore: Kevin Ellison
71/128, 55.5%, 1001 yards, 5 TD, 3 INT, 129.4 QB RAT
172 car, 1096 yards, 6.4 ypc, 12 TD

How many of AJ's were called runs and not scrambles. Don't be stupid.

Did McCarron not redshirt? Again, one guy with less than 2 years in a system.

ETA: And Cam had years in multiple systems, so he doesn't count. Just like I'd never count Mett's stats as a young player's stats.

Yeah but it's provides facts showing just how god-awful AJ was this year in comparison to other QBs who should not have had better numbers than him.

If we cant discuss deficiencies on this board then we are turning into a bs rivals board that only allows rainbows. I havent seen any true bashing of Jennings in here. We are discussing the lack of production from a position compared to two teams who are know for having horrible passing teams

It's probably because this thread is pointless. AJ was hot garbage this year. Who denies it? And how many times has this thread been done already?
