Davis belongs in TierLol if this is a serious discussion on rim protectors.

Not really. He's probably not tier 1, but he's close. Hard to compare camera data against others who just sit next to the rim not playing any defense.

Too weak to be tier one still gets pushed around relatively easily.

He's a power forward that plays away from the rim constantly. Its hard to compare players like that.

But we don't expect any context from you unless it fits whatever retarded narrative you're trying to pump.

Yea bc no other players who are considered elite rim protectors play away from the basket too. They ALL camp out under the hoop. GTFO.

I gotta kind of agree with Boom on this one. The stats do not support the notion that Davis is a GREAT rim protector.

He blocks a lot of shots, but those happen in all kinds of situations... like letting the man go by and swatting his lay-up from behind.

Davis isn't the type of player that turns into a human wall around the rim like a guy like Hibbert.

Davis isn't a rim protector.

Hibbert and Howard are probably the two best.

Davis may win DPOY, though.

Out of players averaging over 20 minutes per game and defending 5 or more shots at the rim per game, Davis ranks 23rd out of 50.
