Does anyone have parents that only talk about politics?

I'm even in agreement with 95% of the things they talk about, but it's like listening to a broken record. What's the point of visiting? I guess it's an old people thing. I've started finishing their rants for them because I have them all memorized.

Mine never talk politics....my dad hates the government and thinks every politician is a scumbag and my mom is clueless...when I visit we call all the neighbors let them know I am in town with the wife and kids...and we throw a party and get trashed....its always good seeing my folks.

My parents don't, but my grandparents on the other hand only talk about how the country is shite and the apocalypse is coming soon because Satin is our president. That's no exaggeration. They literally told me that I needed to find jesus because we'd be seeing him soon last time i saw them.

Meh, my folks watch it and are pretty sophisticated. Mainly just the Special Report though, which is a pretty decent show. No Hannity or O'Reilly, etc.
