Will LSU have a Quarterback with these numbers any time soon?

Nothing spectacular. Just workmanlike. Given all the talent we have elsewhere, if we had a QB who can do this, we would be contending for NC's on the regular.

Yes, we will have a better quarterback than Blake Sims.

You can't expect those stats out of a first year starter. You've got to have experience.

Someone needed to tell that to Jamies Winston last year.

And Ohio State's 3rd string QB with NO experience. And all the freshman and sophmore QBs who light it up everywhere but LSU every season.

5th year senior> Sophomore.

not to mention a better oline, and the best WR in the country

Amari has 1654/ 3250 yards and 14 of 26 touchdowns. as well as 115 of 230 completions.

We don't have a WR as good as Amari Cooper is right now.

How many of those yards from 11/29 did Amari Cooper catch? How many best wide receivers in conference history did Lsu have on the team this year?

How do those numbers compare with Mettenbergers last year? Are you going to argue that Mettengerger didn't have the talent around him that Sims does?

AJ McCarron led Alabama to a national title as a true sophomore in his first year as a starter, and was immensely better than Jefferson (a senior).

Given that we have a head coach who's football philosophy views the QB as just another 'guy ' who can run it as long as doesn't make any mistakes and 'manages' the game, I would add a hearty no to your question.

No Cooper is a stud, but we may have a stud also but since we don't throw the forward pass we really don't know what we have.

People act like this kid just started playing 2 weeks ago. He's played in 13 games and he still looks the same. How many games before we can expect him to actually throw the ball? Other teams don't have this problem.

LSU's passing game is dead last in the SEC

not 6th. not 10th.

14th. dead last.
