Florida State played Florida, Notre Dame, and Okie state OOC

Granted, they all had down years, but that is a strong ooc slate. You can't hold that against the Noles. I hate them as much(or more) than anybody, but there is something to be said for winning all your games. Regardless of how (un)impressively you may have done it. There is absolutely zero chance FSU will--or should--get left out. Even if they had gone 0-12 last year.

Yup. People see that two pretty solid teams are going to get left out, and they aren't thinking rationally.

By the same token, even though they were down, Ohio State at least scheduled a traditional power in VA Tech. Not Urban's fault they suck this year. And not TCU's good that Minnesota happened to be good this year--they were likely shite when they were scheduled.
But more than that, Ohio State beat both Michigan State and Wisconsin, which are better than any win TCU has. Wins HAVE to matter more than losses. They just do. And frick Ohio State and Urban Meyer. frick them right in their asses. I hate them. But I am more for what's fair--and it's fair to let Ohio State in over TCU.
I think Baylor should also be in over TCU, but the committee seems to have steered the conversation this way.
