At least 6 need to be in, but IMO it needs to be an 8 team playoff.

Bama, Oregon, TCU, FL St, Ohio St, and Baylor all 6 deserve their spot. 4 team playoffs is bullshite

College football will never be perfect until TV doesn't run the show. Perfect situation is that the committee decides the size of the playoff.

It will vary every single year, creating a perfect scenario based on what happened the year before is pointless because next year will be totally different.

No? Wtf you talking about? This playoff is jacked up with all of the 1 loss teams that each have a case to be in.

It will go to 8 eventually. Its all about money and 8 equals more money.

8 also equals more big games to watch. I dont understamd why people dont want more big games to watch. Just think how fricking bad arse it would be to see.

And then what happens with three teams in the next round?
With 5 teams, you do a play-in game

Should just be 8. I doubt the committee thought that there would be 6 teams with legit claims to play for the championship at the end of the year. They fricked themselves royally by taking TCU over Baylor and the Big 12 may look like idiots tomorrow when not one but two conference champs are left out

I've always wanted 6 with the top 2 getting byes. I think that preserves the integrity of the regular season and rewards teams for perfect seasons. This year is not a great example, but 2005 SC and Texas had to get a distinct advantage for going 12-0 when everybody else went 11-1(or worse).

I would like to see 8 teams with the first round at the 1-4 seeds home stadiums and then the semi final round in bowl games and the the NC bid out...

Bowl committees have a lot of pull. Bigger playoff means bowls become even more worthless and fans wont go to them.
