For those who were at the polls today, how were the crowds/demographics?

I voted at 11 AM in Baton Rouge. There were lines about 6 persons deep at each of the 3 tables. Zero persons "of color" in line.

Wife reports it was probably 60/40 Cassidy/Landrieu at our polling place in South EBR.

I voted very early this morning in Gramercy in St. James Parish. There was no line but I wanted to hurry and do my part so I could call and harass my hung over friends to get their arse up and go vote. I even voted before my FIL and no one gets up before him lol.

In the greater New Orleans area. Everything I'm hearing says landrieu isn't giving her dc townhouse and office keys just yet.

Mandeville area. All white.

I was a victim of attempted disenfranchisement when I had to show photo ID though.

I voted early, but I took my Dad to vote in a mixed area of Metairie, 90% white. I passed a precinct on Magazine, Irish Channel, walking this am. Light turnout, mostly African American and older, a few younger whites.
I wanted to add there are not the usual groups of people waving signs, etc in NOLA. No sign it was election day there that I saw and I drove through central city, down Claiborne, all the usual places.

I live on the mean streets of the 70809, the Bluebonnet/Jefferson Highway Republican-heavy Ghetto, and I asked the kind ladies today and they said it was a phenomenal turnout and steady all day.

Earlier I was with my black Glen Oaks client and his Mom called to remind him to vote and he told her "sure mom" but doesn't plan to. I'd guess he's a Dem.

Mrs Pimp is bringing her Vietnamese parents even as we speak . They hate the Dems in general.

Anecdotally-I just covered three races...aren't I special

This should be a 58-42 type result based on motivational factors. I mean, as the press will report" whites suppressing the black vote".

She's gonna get on the lobbyist gravy train. She'll spend more time there now than before.
