Shittiest villains ever?

"Well spider man forgot my name, so now I want to take over the world."

And Harry was just an emo pussy.

Why even cast Chris Cooper to play Norman and kill him off within 5 minutes?

Hey mother of the year if theres a giant rhino robot with machine guns blowing shite up, you may want to take your kid and get the frick out of the area, the guard rail probably won't help you from stray bullets. Honestly, that goes for all of you idiots staying to cheer on spider man.

I liked Garfield more as Spider-Man this go around, but that's probably the best I can say about this movie.

Spider Man seems to have a great list of enemies to fight, but the movies seem to continually frick them up.

Agreed.

From the second giamatti spoke with that ridiculous accent to Jamie Fox being the villain. It just blew all the way around.

I mean with Batman I got the whole vigilante helpful or hurtful angle, but in this movie its just forced.

"Yeah who the frick does this spider man guy think he is foiling bank robberies and shite? Dick! They need to lock him up."

Yeah, it was terrible.

And actually, so was the first one. Complete waste of rebooting the franchise IMO. At least Spider-Man 3 was entertaining (just with shitty parts throughout). The last two SM films were shite. And I know that people say that Andrew Garfield nailed Peter Parker, but I can't stand him in the role.

Andrew Garfield and Marc Webb both said the movie they planned to make and the movie Sony made them make were much, much different. Sony required more villains to potentially spin off of, as well as they cut the story significantly because it was too dark.

Yes, my SO and I just watched it recently and we were pretty disappointed.

The entire part with Electro was horribly written and it was blatant that they cut the Harry Osborne story to shreds to shorten the movie. It made almost no sense for Peter to be such a dick to Harry w/damn near zero time spent on their relationship.

I don't know why they have such a hard on for Peter's parents being super scientists that created the formula when it was easily one of the worst parts of ASM1 (3rd behind Croc's mutate everyone plot and the "Let's help Spidey crane scene)

Cramming so many villains and characters into ASM2 was also a huge mistake and shows they have not learned from SM3's mistakes. I'm going to go ahead and assume it's Avi Arad that made most of the horrible decisions.

The whole reboot has just been a disappointing waste of great chemistry between Garfield and Emma Stone.

Yeah, he's the only good part of this shitty reboot. Can anyone tell me what the plot of this movie is? Spider-Man pisses off some people for no reason and doesn't make sense, so they kill his girlfriend? That's the best I can come up with. Spider-Man 3 at least had the Symbiote as an overshadowing threat to the whole plot, but it's still clear that they didn't learn anything from that movie. It's completely aimless and makes no sense. Seriously, why not give Harry, your so-called friend, your blood to save him?

Best Spider-Man ever.

Villains seem to be an afterthought.
Personal relationships are meh.

Completely agree with this statement. That's why I always loved the Spider-Man because all of the villains were badass, but it seems that the Spiderman movies for the most part are not taking advantage of that, particularly Venom in Spider-Man 3. He was barely even in that movie.

Horrible casting of characters & writing.

I own a 9.0 Spiderman #9 and after watching, I figured that movie would decrease the value.

This movie bored my 8 year old son. When a movie about Spider-Man can't sustain the interest of an 8 year old you've got problems

didn't hate garfield as much this time, there were much bigger casting concerns in this one.

Harry is fricking terrible and if he's main antagonist going forward with this sinister 6 stuff I won't have much interest

***Potential Spider Man 3 spoilers**

Rumors are Cooper is being brought back as Green Goblin 2 after Sinister Six. His head is cryo frozen.

Hell I even saw a rumor that the Sinister 6 movie may even be a soft reboot for the property. Sony just doesn't have a fricking clue
