Congrats to Guice
I know Quinn was a finalists last year, and Ryan Perrilloux won the award on 2004. Other winners include Adrian Peterson, Chris Leak, Terrell Pryor, Jimmy Clausen, Dorial Green-Beckham, Bryce Brown, Max Browne, and Elijah Hood.

Catholic running back Derrius Guice, who committed to LSU, is one of six finalists for the U.S. Army Player of the Year award.
Joining Guice are Rasheem Green (defensive tackle from Junipero Serra High School in Gardena, Calif.), Porter Justin (quarterback/linebacker from Salem Hills High School in Salem, Utah), Martez Ivey (offensive lineman from Apopka High School in Apopka, Fla.), Trenton Thompson (defensive lineman from Westover Comprehensive High School in Albany, Ga.), and Chris Warren (running back from Rockwall High School in Rockwall, Texas). The player of the year award will be announced during the U.S. Army All-American Bowl Award Show on Jan. 2.
Guice has also been moving up the recruiting charts. Guice, who has rushed for more than 1,400 yards this season, was given an additional star from Rivals.com, making him a five-star recruit, according to the service. Guice, a 5-foot-11, 215-pounder, is the 20th ranked recruit in the nation, according to Rivals.com.
Congrats to Guice
