Bummer as it doesn't look as though you can access the game from the iPhone app. Maybe I'm missing something.

Wow, I mean, I don't know what to say. My very first sticky and a Bama SEC Championship in the same day. I think I might cry.

I am in the industry and I know several others are as well...and given the research I have access too on top of what TD Ameritrade already provides might give us a slight advantage when picking stuff. Even though the market is unpredictable it does give people in my situation an upper hand.

Brink, I assume the thread's sticky is the answer to your email that it's okay to have prizes. Did you get a reply in addition?

Um, I uh, umm, well, I forgot to email. I will email the cluckster.
I just assumed that since the fantasy board is littered with "gambling" it would be ok.

The reason I bring it up was about 6 or 7 years ago on here someone tried to start an investment club where each person put up some money (I think it was a couple hundred dollars each) and then the members would decide what stocks to buy and sell. The idea was after a while the portfolio would be liquidated and would be divided among the participating members.
The thread was whacked before the process ever got started.
Your idea in this thread is different but it would be a shame if this thread disappeared before we could play it out.

Still haven't heard back. I would assume that it is good to go if you guys want to start a side pot. As I stated earlier, I do not want to be involved with taking the money so you guys need to pick someone who will get that part of it in order. Also, everyone who is in will be eligible for the gift card, so if you are in, you do not have to contribute extra unless you want to.
I scanned the names yesterday and noticed a few who are using their names. MAKE SURE IF YOU REGISTER YOU USE YOUR USER NAME AS FIRST AND LAST NAME. YOU CAN BREAK IT UP LIKE SOME OF US HAVE DONE, FOR EXAMPLE "FIRST NAME" ONTHE, "LASTNAME" BRINK.
Finally, the leaderboard each month may just be about 10 names. It looks like you have to scroll over to multiple pages to get all the names, so depending on how lazy I am at the time will depend on who shows up on the leaderboard.

You think those will be good ones for long term? They're all dividend stocks, even wwe.
