Prediction: Texas vs. LSU in the Advocare V100 Texas Bowl.

The Longhorns appear destined for Houston and the Texas Bowl this postseason, and a matchup with the Tigers makes the most sense. Obviously a showdown with Texas A&M would draw the most interest, but given the politics that currently surround that rivalry, a contest between the Texas and LSU makes the most sense. Both schools have a storied history and have two of the biggest collegiate fan bases in the country. Houston serves as a perfect meeting point between the twoschools, so expect a fairly even split of purple and gold and burnt orange in NRG Stadium if these two meet this holiday season.

LSU has a strong want to play Texas in Houston.

Started the year there, need to finish the season there.

I would love this. I would pay big bucks to see LSU get a purple/gold state of Texas flag stitched and spread it out during our pregame (similar to what UT does during their pregame).

Troll their asses

I like this because recruits will not have to travel far if they want to go to the game.

I just graduated from grad school at UT and someone asked me who I would root for. I said obviously LSU, but its not like they are gonna play each other anytime soon.

Lsu-Texas is the ONLY bowl possibility for LSU that would involve a full house crowd and more than 10k LSU fans in attendance.

Dome, night game, two brand programs....this is the bowl and matchup I have wanted all along, as it's really the only possibility that will have a "big game" feel to it.

Beating Texas and aTm in the same season, in Texas, would be huge for Tiger recruiting in that state. Would be well-attended if it happens.
