New Docsis 3.0 modem

Getting a new modem today. Looking at the Motorola Surfboard or the Netgear Docsis 3.0 modems. Is there a big difference between these? Price on Motorola is about $10 cheaper.
I have a netgear router and extender if any of that matters.

More depends on your ISP. Most ISPs will automatically push firmware updates to specific modems, which would be easier.

I use the surfboard with WoW!, and it had been very reliable. Better than the rental.
