Like I said, the reality is less was never even going to be offered the UM job.

Not saying he isn't being honest, but Les straight told his OSU players he was not leaving, and then bolted, so I'd seriously not take this for more than coach speak.
I doubt he leaves, but him telling a recruit he might leave before even being offered would be stupid.

Um no. Then why hasn't Michigan done way way better in years??
Miles would have Michigan conpeting and challenging in the big 10. Very much so. Probably a 2 loss maybe 3 loss program consistently there which is far better than their current.
