LSU Basketball hype

This win was huge for the fan base. For the die hards like me we needed this game. We go to all of the games with hardly any fan support. In past seasons we have seen one big win against good team boost attendance. Hope this happens this year and we have some near sell-outs rest of year and definitely next year.

Yes I want a cookie. No I'm not patting myself on back. But bottom line is LSU basketball doesn't get the support it needs to be a consistent really good team. Why do you think we have some really good players but not good depth.

Agree to disagree. We have no experienced depth in my opinion. TQ is a starter that comes off bench. They center who starts hardly plays. Patterson plays due to the fact that we have to have someone come off bench. Next year is year if we get the right players back. This year could be memorable year if everything falls rights

Flashback to the mid-'70s. We had a very young, very brash coach in Dale Brown. The guy went out and sold LSU basketball to anyone who would listen. Slowly they drifted into the Assembly Center as his teams began knocking off the ranked ones. Memphis State comes to mind. There was that crazy win against UK when all 5 starters fouled out against one of the nastiest teams ever. You shoulda been there if you weren't.
Y'all want wins? Go to the PMAC and support this team. Drink heavily before, during and after the games. If they can't smell the bourbon from the mid-court line then y'all didn't do it right.
Yell as loud as you can. Have fun!! Support from the stands goes a long way to building a strong program. Achieve!

You say that but the fans have a part in that. When we recruit high rated players they see thousands of empty seats and why should they play here or even want to. It's fans fault this program has fallen off as well as inept coaching. We have front runner fans. Hopefully we can be front runners this year

The reason we bring all big basketball recruits to a football game. You explain that when LSU basketball gets big, these are the fans that will show up. They are crazy and passionate.

I'm more excited about this team. We played sloppy and still beat a top 20 team on the road. I'll be looking to make my way up to baton rouge to see this team play.

Until the last two games the team was underwhelming. Seems like they are playing better and hopefully are jelling together as a team.

Well TQ comes off the bench so that's considered bench. Also "The center"...his name is John Odo, so if you're diehard learn it. Also, he's averaging 19 minutes per game the last 4 games...that's more than hardly playing. Last but not least, how can you say that about Patterson? He's a good ball handler, solid shooter, very good defender, smart player, and knows his role. He played 18 minutes tonight with 3 rebounds, 3 assists, and 5 points. That's pretty damn solid

If LSU can keep it up in the win column the fans will come, especially when we get to SEC play. I really like this team and think they are fun to watch.
