Mary's best strategy would have been just to stfu and hope enough voters forgot about the runoff. Thankfully she's an idiot.

Actually, the last time La voters forgot there was a runoff was in 2008 and Joseph Cao, a republican, was elected to congress from a mostly NOLA district.
