What is the general OT opinion on John Curtis?

Trashy? Hey brah? Cheating-arse suburban football factory? Fake religious academy opened because white people in the 60s didn't want their kids going to school with blacks?
Jesuit is playing them tomorrow night. Jays are playing for their first championship in like 50 years.
I will be on the sideline with fewer tattoos, wearing jeans that did not come from Target.

what does JC do so well that other teams just cant compete? they out out almost no significant d-1 talent, yet for 30 years no one can beat them

They recruited me when I was younger, but my mom didn't want me going to a school that purposely held back kids for football. IIRC, they had 8th grade A and 8th grade B. If you had talent, you went to 8th grade twice

Malachi DuPree, Joe Mcknight, Bobby Powers......
Recruit.
Theres kids from Bayou Lafourche, LaPlace, Chalmette and beyond playing on their team.
Eat Better and train harder.
All of them are on weight programs.
Fail kids so they are 18 when the graduate, more mature, bigger, stronger, faster.
Give Scholorships
Run the same offense/defence from grade school on up.

they just want to win more than anybody else... let me rephrase that. they NEED to win. it's crucial to the survival of the school and J.T.'s income.
other schools like the one i root for don't have this innate need... for better and for worse. Jesuit doesn't have to win a state title to be JESUIT and it's an interesting study in contrasts.
as a school they're not Jesuit but they're not Cohen or Clark... their kids never seem to have trouble making the scores you need for college football

I know 2 sisters. One went to Dominican, the other went to Curtis. They grew up in the same house, same parents.
There is a world of difference in their education. One is an LSU grad, the other didn't go to college. I'm sure you can guess which one is which.

I graduated from high school 9 years ago, from undergrad 4 years ago, and from grad school 2 years ago.
high school football in general is trashy level interstellar.
