Great rally cars especially the CooperS.
Great car to have on the Sunday before Mardi Gras trying to find a parking place Uptown.

I know one person that owns one, and by all accounts he is a nice guy. Just a bit different.

James Hunt drove a mini. He was pretty much the straightest man on the planet.

Yeah same thing with this guy. Very nice, very different. He's kind of a friend of mine and I just cracked a joke ab him driving a Mini Cooper and he claims it's perfectly acceptable for straight dudes to drive them and that a lot do. I don't see it. It's up there with a new beetle in terms of gay.

A JCW (John Cooper Works) Mini is legit. I would drive one.

I know a few guys who drive Mini Coopers, all of whom are straight. My wife has one, it has a surprising amount of leg room.

There are a shitload of those cars in Baton Rouge. Maybe it's because my wife drives one and they're so distinctive, but I see them all over town. Shoot, there used to be four in our neighborhood alone.

Sure. I have a buddy with the turbo. He bought it when he lived in Germany. Small cars are a must in that area for getting around and parking. And it went 140+ mph on the autobahn. New respect for that car after that.

That is not the word one would use to describe "men" who drive pretty boy cars...

I know a guy that sold his Z71 Tahoe for one... It might have been a money issue though.

ETA: he's straight

I have a buddy that drives one. He's not gay, but he also knows none of us will be caught riding with him in it. They are pretty fun to drive though.

Worlds smallest V8?

May could squeeze an old Buick 215CI aluminum V8 in there. I doubt it.

I think the larger ones are okay. Or the rally version.

Why not. They are fun to drive. If I was in the market for a roadster I would consider a Cooperworks turbo model.
