Googled Fort Collins. Living there must suck

They know NOTHING about Fort Collins. It's standard of living measurements are off the charts. As is most of Colorado.

Have a friend that moved up there earlier in the year to get her doctorate studies. It seems like it'd be badass. nice little foothill town, craft breweries have been king for 2 decades, not nearly as crusty as Boulder, far enough away from Denver to be a nice safe college town.
One drawback is it's kinda a haul to get to the better ski areas in the state.
