Read Zombie Survival Guide, you get out of Metro areas. You only go back in after a period of time when the zombies have slowed down because of starvation or spread out.

My question implies that you have to stay in BR.

What's the time constraint on how long you have to stay there? If I have to stay in BR for more than a few weeks I'll just go ahead and kill myself. This place sucks even when it's not the ZA.

You can kindly go frick yourself. Leave BR if you hate it so much.

The pretend pretend place that is impenetrable to zombies, and is stocked with a lifetime of food and entertainment.

Stay home and board up the place. Full your tubs with water and have an escape plan through the attic and out the roof should you need to.

Turn off all lights (if power still on) and hunker down while everyone runs out and gets themselves killed trying to be a hero or villain.

After about a week, start running quick scouting trips to neighboring houses for supplies, if possible.

It's not exciting, but that's what I would do if things went full zombie crazy overnight.
