If Les were to leave would Harbaugh be the best of the best for us?

Im just wondering if everyone thinks it would be a good fit? I personally think so. Just making convo here, not assuming or jumping to any conclusions.

Does anyone have any faith in Alleva to make a decent hire should the situation present itself?

Harbaugh was a top 5 HC at Stanford. Let that sink in.

He has developed quarterbacks and was a good recruiter at Stanford. Good fit

I can't imagine anyone would be against that...but I'm sure I'll see some posts in this thread that are against it.

Give me 1 example of a coaching coming off several successful seasons going back to college.

I'll hang up and listen....

Harbaugh is not leaving the NFL. And of course he would be an upgrade. But he would be a grade A a-hole and would wear out his welcome IMO

So Harbaugh tells his alma mater no, then Les leaves, morons rejoice, and Harbaugh comes to coach here. Is that the story line.

Hopefully we aren't in that position, but I couldn't think of a better option if we were.

Oakland will give him full control.... The defense isn't horrible and they have a young QB with some potential....

NYG, Dallas, Atlanta, NYJ, and possibly others will be open

would be cool?

Seriously this was a hypothetical post, i was simply implying that I though it would be a good fit. Scheme wise, coaching wise etc...

Michigan would pursue Harbaugh before Miles IMO
And if Harbaugh turns them down and they decide to pursue Miles, I don't see Harbaugh turning down Michigan and coming to LSU if Miles leaves
