The guys he brought in for depth are useless
John Salmons, Alexis Ajinca and Jimmer Ferdette have jobs, while dudes like Andray Blatche, Earl Clark, Will Bynum, and Jermaine O'Neal are all available...
Not saying those guys can change the course of the franchise, but frick... they can give the Pels some quality minutes.

I think the roster is good enough to compete for a playoff spot, but that's about it. If you look at individual player talent then yes you could say the Pels are on par with a team like Memphis, but the talent just doesn't fit and the team doesn't have an identity the way Memphis does. All of last year's WCF playoff teams have an identity while the Pels really don't.
