Made a morning hunt yesterday and then an evening hunt. When I took my Maxus out of the case in the evening, this is what it looked like. It went away an hour or so later, but just wondering if this was normal.

I have dura touch camo. I either wipe with rag dipped in water or with flitz outdoors version and never had any discoloration. Usually wipe mine down within 3 hours of leaving the field.

Have had Maxus for almost 3 years and never seen that issue.

I wiped it down after the morning hunt, the. Put it in the case. Scares the crap out of me. Glad it's back to normal, but that's crappy for a gun that costs that much.

Put it in a gun sock first then put it in the case

I wouldn't do this. Gun socks are fine for guns that are oiled and clean. (I still wouldn't use for long term storage) Not what you want to do with a gun that has been in the field. You're trapping in any moisture that has been accumulated in the field.
