Similar experience here. We were at lunch and they announced it. Even that young, I was like "who cares there is maybe 5 AA kids in the whole school?" White people are the worst.

I was in high school (that was racially mixed 50/50 white/black) when we heard the verdict. Several of the black students ran up and down the halls cheering and carrying on. Some of them chanting how today was better than the day Jesus was born
