I was having a conversation this weekend about how great Paul Newman was and how many good movies he made. Name your favorites.

1. Cool Hand Luke
2. The Sting
3. Life and Times of Judge Roy Bean
4. Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid.
5. Absence of Malice

Butch
The Sting
The Verdict
The Hustler
Slapshot
Long Hot Summer

In no particular order, but like most of them, to be honest. Newman is the greatest.

Considering that Cool Hand Luke is one of the greatest films of all-time and the whole film is one incredible quote after another, I'm going with that.

Also- just about every other Newman film mentioned so far too.

In addition to excellent choices previously mentioned:

The Hudsucker Proxy
Nobody's Fool
Road to Perdition
Cars

One of my favorites is The Life & Times of Judge Roy Bean. I believe I saw it at The Gordon Theatre in Baton Rouge back in the day.

Too tough to choose - Paul Newman may have been the last of his kind.

Road to Perdition is owed some extra awe because he was clearly way past his prime and still rose to the occasion.
